We have a variety of Sunday School classes for all age levels from the cradle right up to adults. Classes begin 1 ½ hours prior to the Sunday service. There is a class for everyone and everyone is welcome.
A weekly program for children of elementary school age. A mix of drama, puppets, games, crafts and bible stories make this a night of learning and spiritual development for everyone.
Many of our members are involved in sports such as softball, hockey, curling and golf. We use these sports as a way to fellowship with and reach out to non-Christians, and to see new friendships develop.
A weekly program for junior high and senior high teenagers. Lots of various activities that emphasize Christian fellowship and fun with a focus on spiritual and character development.
We have a number of home groups which meet on a weekly basis in various home for Bible study, fellowship and prayer. All are welcome to attend. See the weekly bulletin for locations.
The work of the church is to pray! Currently, a prayer group meets at 6:30 AM every Tuesday at the church office. On Saturday mornings, a group of men meet at the office to fold bulletins, fellowship and to pray.
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying."
The women of Emmanuel Covenant Church are committed to a ministry of encouragement, outreach and love. They meet periodically throughout the year. Secret Sisters is an important part of this ministry as is the Ladies Bible Study which meets on Wednesday mornings.
This vibrant group of men and women meet monthly to fellowship and encourage one another in the faith. They are involved in church ministry and in outreach to the community. Activities include fun times and trips to interesting places.
